What do the values mean?
Working Distance (WD)
Indicates the ideal distance between the sensor and the object for precise measurements.
Z-Range (Z FoV)

Specifies the calibrated measurement range.

X-Range (X FoV)
Indicates the horizontal width of the sensor’s measurement range.
Laser Class
Laser classes indicate how safe or dangerous a laser beam is for eyes and skin – important for proper handling of laser systems.
Class 2
Visible laser – harmless to the eyes with brief accidental exposure.
Class 2M
Same as Class 2 – but hazardous when viewed with optical aids such as a magnifying glass or binoculars.
Class 3R
Laser beam can be dangerous if directly viewed.
Class 3B
Dangerous for eyes and, in some cases, skin. Diffuse reflections are usually harmless.
Laser Wavelength
Indicates which laser light is used – important for material compatibility and measurement accuracy.
